Specializing in both residential & boutique hospitality projects, our studio offers comprehensive, high-touch interior design services. We approach each of our projects with a uniquely-tailored client experience, one that embodies the brand ethos of the hospitality business we are designing for, or reflects the lifestyle desired by the families for whom we create home. Above all, we are deeply passionate about the way that spaces impact how we feel when we are in them. Functionality is never compromised in our designs, and our expertise allows us to make functional look and feel elevated, uniquely eye-catching, and soulful.
Our Services
RESIDENTIAL
CPD Studio offers full-service interior design for both new-build and renovation projects. We work closely with our clients from project conception through to the final installation and styling, ensuring that the homes we design feel move-in ready upon completion. Throughout the process, our team maintains a sharp focus on project management and high-touch communication between the construction team, vendors, and our clients, ensuring all design goals are met with ease. Our design process includes initial design concepting, space planning and detailed drawing sets, sourcing and procurement of all furnishings, furniture and equipment, comprehensive project management, and final styling of the home to complete the design. We also offer custom furniture design and art curation for our clients, services that are always offered and most often included in the design scope.
HOSPITALITY
With a background designing hotels, restaurants, and spas in ski towns to beach destinations, our studio brings enthusiasm and expertise to boutique hospitality projects. We’re here to help navigate the code requirements, to build a design that reflects the business’s core brand, and to keep the target market (the travelers, diners, or spa-goers!) top of mind throughout the process. Our process includes end-to-end branding and art direction, exterior and interior design concepting and facilitation, sourcing and procurement of custom or brand-aligned furnishings, fixtures and equipment, comprehensive project management, and final styling of the space to ultimately bring the design to life. We offer extensive plan and elevation drawing sets and realistic renderings, as needed, for our projects, and work closely with the partnered architects to achieve one cohesive, code-aligned design vision.
Our services are primarily focused in the boutique hospitality sector, but we are always open to hearing about any commercial design projects you may have in mind.

At the helm of our studio, Courtney and Christian Peña have joined their complimentary backgrounds and expertises to create a leadership team that balances design excellence with operational and managerial stability.
COURTNEY
Courtney, founder and principal designer, brings a wealth of knowledge across the hospitality and residential design sectors, and her acute eye for design leads us in transforming, or bringing to life, any space. Her approach is practical and inclusive, ensuring clients feel deeply understood, their pain points are addressed, and their ultimate goals are realized. Courtney finds deep fulfillment from developing strong relationships with her clients, and knowing that her designs have improved their day-to-day quality of life.
CHRISTIAN
With over a decade in the healthcare management industry, leading teams and streamlining operations, Christian co-leads our studio with process and our client experience as a top priority. His knowledge and leadership style complements Courtney’s design acumen, and he ensures that our processes are steadfast, our team is continually supported, and that we can be industry leaders in the design journey caliber that our clients experience.
Our Team
As the force behind our designs, our hard-working team is made up of multidisciplinary designers who work together across each of our ongoing projects. Our team members bring unique skill sets to the table, including detailed project management, design conceptualization and space planning, drafting and rendering, and client relations. As a whole, we offer a deep knowledge of the interior design industry and have spent years developing strong relationships with our vendors so as to serve as advocates for our clients. Our studio culture and dedication to a team-oriented work ethic remains our foundation, and above all, we have FUN with the work that we do!
